Ingredients (8 servings)

  • 2 cups of oats (400 g)
  • 2 cups of wholemeal flour (400 g)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar or a sugar substitute (100 g)
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda (2.5 g)
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon (10 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt (2.5 g)
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate shavings (50 g)
  • 2 cups of organic almond milk (500 ml)
  • 2 mashed bananas
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla (5 ml)
  • 3 tablespoons of melted margarine (45 g)

Preparation

  • To start, preheat your oven to 180 ÂșC.
  • Then, in a deep container, stir in the oats, wholemeal flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and chocolate shavings.
  • In another container, pour the almond milk and add the banana, egg and vanilla. Mix everything well, then add the margarine without stopping mixing.
  • Now add the oatmeal and flour mixture to the one you just prepared and beat everything well so as to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  • After obtaining a homogeneous mixture, pour your preparation into a pre-greased and floured brownie pan. Distribute the preparation well with a spoon, then cover the surface of the preparation with almonds.
  • All you have to do is put your preparation in the oven for about twenty minutes and wait until the bread is well cooked.
  • Let the bread cool before eating it.
